A small child who fell into a backyard swimming pool on the city’s Northeast Side has tragically passed away.

In a statement India’s family says they are distraught and trying to process the tragic loss of their precious 22 month old baby girl.
They say she is the happiest little girl who never cried and brought joy and laughter to everyone.
Emergency crews responded to the family home off Vista Bluff Drive around 5:30 Thursday evening for the accidental drowning call.
Little India passed away just before three Friday afternoon. The family has set up a GoFundMe for funeral expenses.
