Krantz’s journey in radio began in the late 1980s on Greensboro’s Rock 92 (WKRR), where his sharp wit and fearless commentary quickly garnered a dedicated following. He later co-hosted the popular “Spires & Krantz” show on WBT in Charlotte from 1999 to 2003, and subsequently reunited with longtime partner Britt Whitmire for the “Brad & Britt” show, which aired on WZTK FM Talk 101.1 in Burlington and later returned to WBT.
