Upon arrival, officers discovered that the activity was part of an ICE operation, and confirmed the agents’ identification. Derderian emphasized that Pasadena police did not assist in the apprehension, stating, “PPD was solely there for the call for service.”

The woman was detained without incident, and Pasadena Fire Department personnel were also called to evaluate her medical condition. She sustained minor injuries but declined transport to a hospital.

The woman’s family members were present at the scene and were described as “very cooperative in diffusing the situation,” according to Derderian. Officers remained on site to monitor a small group of bystanders who had gathered during the incident.

Officials have not released further details about the woman’s identity or the reason for her detention. The situation concluded peacefully, with no arrests or altercations involving the public or police.
