Age 83, of Sewickley Hills, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Born on May 21, 1941, George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, whose kindness, humor and generosity will be missed.

George is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Kathleen E. (Kish) Burkert; his children, Kimberly (Barry) Dougherty, Randy (Sharm) Burkert and Julie (Andy) Shuty; and seven cherished grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew “Drew” Shuty.
