Ariana Chanelle Lang, a 24-year-old resident of Aliceville, Alabama, tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The incident occurred around 7:25 p.m. on Franconia Road, approximately one mile north of Aliceville in Pickens County. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Ms. Lang was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu when the vehicle veered off the roadway, struck a ditch, and collided with a brick culvert.
Ms. Lang was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. A two-year-old passenger in the vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
