Ash Karale was pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at Drexel University, a journey he began in 2022 with plans to complete by 2027. During his time at Drexel, he was not only immersed in rigorous academic research but also actively contributed to the scientific community.

He was a proud member of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) and part of the LSST AGN Science Collaboration—a group committed to studying active galactic nuclei (AGN) as part of the forthcoming data from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory.

His involvement in these organizations showcased his passion for astronomy and astrophysics and demonstrated his commitment to expanding humanity’s understanding of the universe.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Ash earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai in India, graduating in 2022. Even as an undergraduate student, he was highly involved in academic communities and extracurricular organizations.

He was a member of the Computer Society of India, where he engaged with fellow students and professionals in the tech field, further nurturing his love for research and innovation.
