The Norwood neighborhood of the Bronx is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Estarling Peralta, an 18-year-old who passed away after being shot during an argument on East Gun Hill Road. The tragic incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday at 266 East Gun Hill Road and has left a family shattered and a community in mourning.

According to the New York Police Department, officers arrived at the scene to find Estarling suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to SBH Health System in critical condition. Despite the best efforts of emergency medical staff, he sadly passed away early Thursday morning due to his injuries.
