Kevin Ray Patent, a lifelong resident of Randolph, Nebraska, passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on November 22, 1958, Kevin was deeply rooted in his community and cherished by those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Alice, and their son, Andrew Patent, who, along with his wife Colie, welcomed their first child, Jameson Ray, on January 7, 2024. Jameson’s middle name honors his great-grandfather, Raymond A. Patent, Kevin’s father, who passed away on January 5, 2010.
Kevin’s commitment to family and community was evident throughout his life. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and his legacy will continue through the values he instilled in his family.
A memorial service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Saint Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Randolph. The family has chosen to hold a private burial at a later date. Kevin’s presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the Randolph community.
