McKEESPORT, Pa. — The community is mourning the loss of 37-year-old Kurtis Shaw, who tragically passed away following a shooting incident at his residence on Abraham Street. Emergency responders discovered Shaw with gunshot wounds inside his home around 10 p.m. on March 29, 2025. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Shaw’s death. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
Shaw’s untimely passing has left a void in the McKeesport community, where he was known and cherished. Friends and family remember him for his warm spirit and contributions to those around him.
