Before her time at Temple University, LaVonda was a proud student of Howard University, one of the nation’s most renowned Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). It was at Howard that she deepened her love for education, advocacy, and community leadership, building relationships and memories that would last a lifetime.
LaVonda’s academic journey began at Louisville Male High School, where she distinguished herself as a bright, determined student with big dreams and a bigger heart. Her classmates and teachers remember her as someone who was always willing to lend a hand, offer a word of encouragement, and push herself and others toward excellence.
Throughout her career, LaVonda made a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
