SPANISH LAKE, Mo. — The community mourns the loss of Markezz Manuel, who passed away on March 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with health issues. Born on June 15, 1980, in St. Louis, Missouri, Markezz was a lifelong resident of Spanish Lake. He attended Hazelwood East High School, graduating in 1998, and later pursued a degree in Business Administration at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Markezz dedicated over two decades to his career in the financial services industry, working as a financial analyst for several prominent firms in the St. Louis area. His colleagues remember him for his analytical acumen and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Beyond his professional life, Markezz was deeply involved in his community. He volunteered at local shelters and participated in mentorship programs aimed at guiding youth toward positive futures. An avid sports enthusiast, Markezz enjoyed playing basketball and was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Markezz is survived by his loving wife, Angela; their two children, Michael and Sophia; his parents, Robert and Linda Manuel; and his sister, Jasmine. His family and friends will remember him for his kindness, resilience, and the profound impact he had on those around him.
A memorial service will be held on April 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Spanish Lake Community Church, 123 Main Street, Spanish Lake, MO 63138. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Markezz’s memory.
