On Tuesday, authorities named the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred last week at a hotel close to Portland International Airport as 26-year-old Drew Hayden Courtright.
Additionally, police announced the arrest of the suspect in Courtright’s murder, identified as 42-year-old Mitch Schooner.

Officers responded to a call at the Sojourn Suites on Northeast Airport Way shortly after 8 a.m. last Friday, where they discovered Courtright deceased.
Schooner is charged with first-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, and third-degree assault.
