Monica Ruth Myers, Alumna of the Brooklyn Technical High School (Class of 2004), and a former Stony Brook women’s tennis student-athlete. left us far too soon on March 31st, 2025, She was 39.

A proud Technite, Monica carried her passion for excellence beyond high school, earning her B.S. in Business Management from Stony Brook University and later an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Her career was a testament to her sharp mind and dedication, with impactful roles at Google, American Express, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Yet, for all her professional success, those closest to her will remember her for so much more—her unwavering generosity, her ability to light up a room, and the quiet strength she brought to every relationship.
Monica’s legacy is one of love—for her family, her friends, and the communities she uplifted. She moved through life with grace, always extending a hand to others while staying true to her values. Her absence leaves a profound void, but her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched.
