SHERIDAN, IN — A tight-knit Indiana community is grieving the sudden and heartbreaking loss of 22-year-old Dominic Fajardo, who died early Thursday morning in a devastating car crash in Sheridan.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the crash occurred around 3:20 a.m. along a rural section of roadway. According to Public Information Officer Bryan Melton, Fajardo’s vehicle veered off the road for reasons still under investigation, struck a utility pole, and overturned. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Fajardo was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. No other vehicles or passengers were involved.
