Shortly after, at approximately 2:15 a.m., a second street takeover occurred in Lakewood, in the 2700 block of Del Amo Boulevard. LASD officials said no businesses in that immediate area were burglarized, and it remains unclear whether the two incidents are connected.

Conflicting Reports on Burglaries
While the LASD initially reported only one confirmed burglary, KTLA5 cited a separate LASD spokesperson, stating that at least seven businesses were burglarized across the two locations.

According to the station, three businesses at the corner of Artesia and Woodruff in Bellflower sustained damage, including a convenience store, a beauty supply shop, and an auto repair business. One store clerk reportedly suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Additionally, four businesses were reportedly broken into at the Color Corner Shopping Center on Del Amo Boulevard in Lakewood. Photographs published by KTLA5 show shattered glass doors and ransacked interiors.

Investigation Ongoing
Despite the disturbances, no arrests have been made and no major injuries were reported as of Saturday afternoon. The LASD said the incidents are under active investigation, and officials have yet to determine if the burglaries were directly tied to the street takeover events.
